For now, it appears to be working at an entirely satisfactory level. The following is a f5d80536v of those changes reflected in Xirrius: For a reliable or robust as the Xirrus user guide says wireless connection you need a signal of about dBm or better.

Thanks for marking this as the answer. Once I installed those drivers, the USB simply stopped working altogether. But I still have one issue to sort out and i need help with it. Once againthankyou for your reply and time.

Thread english on insanelymac. I stumbled over this thread and out of pure frustration installed the ralink drivers as explained above. I updated the drivers before this in an attempt to fix things, however this only caused the adapter to worsen. Tuesday, May 24, belkinn Yes Link-local IPv6 Address. This has improved the connection thus far I believe. I’ve been having issues belkinn getting my wireless adapter to work in Windows 7.

You can do the same with the Recovery and Installed. Thanks all for your contributions to this thread, like many I have just spent the best part of a day battling with this troublesome piece of hardware.

I’ve also tried to track down any vvista Registry files I could find. Find More Posts by peda. Worked fine with previous install of XP. I uninstalled them naturally and also deleted as many accompanying registry files as I could fine. Sorry for the 5 page essay lol but it’s just frustrating because i actually had it working at one point so i know its possible.
